I kept opening a notes app, writing something half-decent, and never looking at it again. Meanwhile I had 47 browser tabs open “to read later” and a graveyard of bookmarks I'll never touch.
So: a stash, in public.
The rule is simple — if a thing is worth remembering, it goes here, written well enough that future-me (and maybe you) can actually use it. Topics will wander. Right now that means learning, security, AI, and coffee, but the through-line isn't the subject. It's “this was worth keeping.”
A squirrel doesn't bury one giant nut. It buries a lot of small ones, in a lot of places, and trusts that the habit pays off. Same plan here. Short notes, longer pieces, the occasional thing I got wrong and want to correct. Don't expect a content calendar. Do expect things worth gathering.
Welcome to the stash.
